Deciding to face our problems head-on takes courage, and I am here for you every step of the way. I believe that change begins with accepting ourselves for who we are, no matter what. Understanding the things that have happened in our past, and why we think or act the way we do, allows us to feel self-compassion, and gives us a roadmap to becoming a better version of ourselves. I am trained in a range of therapeutic approaches and techniques that can help guide you in this process. I will provide a warm, welcoming, and safe space to explore whatever is troubling you, free from shame and judgement. Therapy is not a quick fix, and healing can be painful, but through it you will develop the skills, confidence, and personal strength to overcome whatever life brings – including the situation you are in right now.

My Approach

I have a Masters in Counselling from Bangor University, where I studied Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Cognitive and Behavioural approaches to therapy. My practice is integrative and Person-Centred at its core, and I undergo continuing professional development to ensure I am delivering the very best in evidence-based counselling and psychotherapy. I have previously worked with North Wales Women’s Centre and Cruse Bereavement Support, and I currently work part time for the NHS Primary Care Mental Health Counselling Service in North Wales. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their professional guidelines.
